Scenic WondersThe Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway winds through a region that shares a common theme - its eruptive volcanic past. Visitors to the Byway can explore the fruits of nature's history while visiting a land well loved by its residents who value its scenic beauty, diversity and recreational opportunities.
Here we have made suggestions for visitors planning a one day drive of the Byway, and compiled a list of full day explorations of each of the regions of the Byway for those planning a longer journey. Our website is being updated weekly, so please check back for pages listing lodging, dining and services in the towns along the Byway. While visiting we invite you to do as the locals do - allow yourself to be distracted be the beauty and wonder of the region.
